  1. I am much impressed with the Hero Kids RPG. Here are some thoughts that I had about printing it and some errata I noticed. You already know about some of them.

Hero Kids Errata and Clarifications (Unofficial)

    Clarifications
Most of the books print in both Portrait and Landscape format. Usually the main text and maps print in Landscape. Hero Cards, Monster Cards and Paper Standies print in Portrait. This varies somewhat from book to book.

I live in the United States of America. I print on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. I use Bright White Premium Cardstock, 96 Bright, 65 lb. (175 g/m²). This is more durable than copy paper and prevents text bleed through, as I print on both sides.

I set my printer as follows: Print All Pages, Reverse Pages, Actual Size, Print On Both Sides Of Paper, and Orientation: Auto Portrait/Landscape.

I put my (double side) printed pages in non-glare heavy weight plastic sheet protectors and keep them in a 3 ring binder. When open the binder lays flat and it is easier to look at the text and maps.

The map squares appear to be about 1 inch (25mm) across. They actually print at about 7/8 inch (20mm) across. I tried printing the maps larger, but ran off the edges of the paper. The Paper Standies print at about 15/16 inch (24mm) across. Standies of Large Creatures print larger and occupy more than one square on the map. I would prefer the map squares to be 1 inch (25mm) across, but can accept them as they are.

If you live in another country or print on a different size/type of paper, your results may vary.

    Hero Kids Core Rulebook
    1. All through the book. The singular of dice is die. One die. Two dice. A series of trivial errors. You can correct them if you want to, but the meaning is clear as written.

    2. Page 20. Glossary. Hit.
There are no Advanced Play Rules. Delete all mention of Advanced Play dice damage. Suggested correction:

Hit: An attack where the attacker’s dice roll beats the defender’s armor dice roll (If they tie, then the attacker wins).

    Hero Kids_Expansion_ Equipment Cards
    1. Siege Longbow Card. The word Siege is misspelled.

    1. Page 19. The Brecken Vale map.
The Brecken Vale map prints upside down. Flip the image 180 degrees on the Long Axis. “The Brecken Vale” is now on the right side of the monitor screen.

Hero Kids_Adventures_Tomb of the Lost King
    1. Pages 14 and 15. Both Rivenshore Cemetery maps.
The Rivenshore Cemetery maps are reversed and do not line up properly. Print the map on page 15 on page 14. Print the map on page 14 on page 15. The maps will now line up properly when the binder is opened and laid flat.
